The second one is too heavy on South Side references, and not representative of the greater DSM area.  While I agree it is the finest side of town, an effort such as this demands fuller inclusion of the city as a whole.  The first one is more polished and well-rounded.

I have to respond about the comment about the 2nd video comments from “PP”.  There were 2 out of the 7 main shots that were from the South Side of Des Moines.  The Fair grounds is on the East side of DSM, the Capital, Wells Fargo Arena, Meredith and Grey’s Lake are all considered downtown, Waveland Cafe is central DSM and Zooks Harley Davidson is on the North Side of Des Moines.  With the limited time of 1 minute per the contest rules it was very difficult to choose what to capture.  These were the places that we love in Des Moines.
